Who has a successful long distance relationship and whats your opinion?

Theirs this guys I reallyyyy wanna have a relationship with but he lives in Texas and I live in New York....Im afraid though because ive never had an 'actual' relationship before (and im a prude :( ) but this is a guy I would give anything to be with. Hes like my dream guy and we both love eachother very much, we talk everyday, we know what we look like, and everything, and etc. Im suppose to meet up with him this summer for the first time and then were gonna make our relationship offical hopefully but im still afraid to have a long distance relationship especially concidering this would be my first relationship/ boyfriend ever...If any of you guys have a successful long distance relationship story or maybe you can tell me about the guy/girl your with now who was the results of your long distance relationship that would be great! :) Also if you could, can tell me how you kept the relationship going like how did you make it work, id really appreciate it. I really want my soon to be relationship to go well and i wanna know how to keep it intact. Ive heard negative things about long distance relationships and now i wanna hear the positive and good side of it. Please and Thank you <3 :)
