This guy argues with me, thinks i'm funny, calls me too prude, looks at me but says he doesn't like me?

I'm very confused about this, he talks to this other too but he seems more comfortable around her, i like this guy a lot but if he likes someone else then i'll back off, but he behaves like a little middle school girl, he's blamed things on me, and claims i "talk about him" when i don't, and says he got put on the spot because of me and felt awkward, even though i didn't do anything. I feel like he's gradually trying to avoid me and not talk to me but our lockers are right next to each other and we have fun slamming each other's locker, in class i sit literally 4 feet away from him and he doesn't talk to me but outside of class he does talk to me. Also i'm rich but i never show it, because it makes the person look very self centered, people go and tell him that i'm rich and i think he's not ok with the fact that i'm rich. He's a normal middle class person i dont see anything wrong with him but i think he's insecure about the amount of money he has, because when we got into a fight he claimed that i think im the "cream of the crop" and i think im better than everyone. Honestly im not that kind of person and i would never use my money against him or to get him. someone please help me, give a little idea of what he's thinking.
