Pokemon white: should i use my trained since lv 1 volcarona or the lv70 one you catch in the relic castle?

The level 70 is a higher level but I think pokemon tend to be more powerful the longer you've known then and the stronger bond you have with them. Plus, the level 70 might not listen or respond to your commands like the other one
